SOLUTION: This lift is provided with a first support substrate 1, a second support substrate 2, an intermediate guide member 3 arranged between the first and second support substrates 1 and 2, a first arm 4 rotatably connecting the intermediate guide member 3 and the first support substrate 1, a second arm 5 rotatably connecting the intermediate guide member 3 and the second support substrate 2, a driving means 6 movably driving the intermediate guide member 3, and an initial releasing means 7 capable of moving the first and second support substrates 1 and 2 in the separating direction merely with the driving force of the driving means 6 by initially moving tip sections 4b and 5b in the separating direction when the first and second support substrates 1 and 2 cannot be moved in the separating direction by only the driving force of the driving means 6.
