PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the higher venting property and waterproof of an air vent in a gas sensor that functions by introducing the atmosphere from the outside via the air vent. SOLUTION: In an oxygen sensor of the embodiment, a sheet-like venting filter 50 is pinched a sealing member 15 and a press member 16, so that the venting filter 50 can be used in the flat shape as it is without applying any strong tensile force, thus preventing waterproof from decreasing. Then, strong compression force is applied locally to an annular encircling region (namely, first projection section 15c) for surrounding an upper opening on an upper end face 15d of the sealing member 15 via the venting filter 50, thus surely fixing the venting filter 50 to the upper end face 15d of the sealing member 15 and preventing water from entering an air vent 15a. |
