PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging system in which combination of document images for monochromatic output can be set or confirmed easily and a printed matter can be obtained as intended by a user. SOLUTION: The imaging system comprises a function for displaying a plurality of desired document images for monochromatic output among document images for monochromatic output stored in an image storing means at a display section, a function for combining the plurality of images being displayed at the display section in units of page to form a document image for multicolor output, a function for setting the colors of the plurality of images being displayed at the display section at the time of outputting from an image output means, and a preview function for displaying images colored by the color setting means at the display section while superposing to represent the state at the time of outputting from the image output means. |
