PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sunvisor holder for an automobile constructed for securing a stable holding strength while reducing degradation of assembling workability and suppressing increase in the number of part items. SOLUTION: In this holder, a connection shaft part of a sunvisor main body is received on the inside of a hook part 7 and locked by a means of a freely retractable locking part 8, and the locking part is integrally molded in the main body member 9 provided with the hook part and made of synthetic resin, while on the back side of the locking part, a metallic spring member 10 energizing the locking part in the projecting direction is arranged. Especially, the spring member 10 is constructed of a coil spring, a pressing member 16 fitted on the inner circumference wall inside of a spring housing part 15 arranged on the back side of the locking part is arranged, an elastic locking piece 17 engaged on the circumference wall of the spring housing part is formed inside the pressing member, and projections 18 and 19 inserted and fitted in the central part of the spring member are arranged on the mutually opposed faces in the pressing member and the locking member.
