PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for a fuel cell, made from carbon powder on which platinum base transition metal fine particles dispersed with a silicone base polymer compound are carried. SOLUTION: The carbon powder coated with the silicone base polymer, in which the platinum base transition metal is dispersed, can be obtained in a simple, rapid process. The carbon powder can be used in a catalyst electrode as the catalyst for the fuel cell, which has high efficiency and high durability. |
