PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the control unit of a microprocessor program capable of performing rewriting of a basic program of a MPU with a few man-hours when adding optional circuit boards. SOLUTION: In the control unit of microprocessor program comprising a detecting circuit 12A placed on a first circuit board 2A, a first MPU 3 placed on the board 2A and a second MPU 9 placed on a second circuit board 8A mounted on the board 2A via a connector 7A, the second MPU 9 has a writing function to detect with the circuit 12A that the board 8A is connected to the board 2A and to write a program stored in the second MPU 9 into the first MPU 3.
