PURPOSE: A color correction method according to systems is provided to output uniform colors for different systems. CONSTITUTION: Color values of a specific file are received from a monitor to form a color table. The file document is output and scanned to detect the color values again. The scanned color values are compared with cyan, magenta, yellow, black, and a table of mixed color of the cyan, magenta, yellow and black one to one, to construct a color table using color differences. The color values are corrected by corresponding error values. The color value correcting step is repeated N times until the error values become values within a predetermined rate. When the color error values become within the predetermined rate, corresponding correction data is made into a color correction database.
