PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing burr on a strip is provided which easily controls a compression angle of burr masher rolls to the strip, thereby sequentially uses all surfaces of the rolls according to the wear state of the burr masher rolls generated during removal of burr so as to extend a life cycle of the burr masher rolls. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for removing burr on a strip which is equipped with burr masher rolls so as to remove burr(B) generated at the edge part of the strip(10) during the side trimming operation, the apparatus for removing burr on the strip in which roll angles are easily controlled comprises a body part which is consisted of a lower body(34) that is installed movably along a base(32) installed at both sides of a strip pass line and an upper body(36) that is installed at the lower body(34) so that the upper body(36) is opened or closed, and which is adjusted according to a width of the strip; a burr removal part which is consisted of upper and lower burr masher rolls that are rotationally mounted on roll bases(52,54) installed at the upper and lower sides of the upper and lower bodies so that the upper and lower burr masher rolls remove burr by compressing the edge part of the strip according to opening or closing of the bodies(34,36); and a roll variation part which is consisted of operation rolls(80,82) that are eccentric rotationally installed at fixing plates(72,74) fixed to the bodies and the bodies(34,36) between the rolls, and in which contact projecting parts(76,78) formed at both end parts are closely adhered to the roll bases at which the burr masher rolls are installed so that the roll variation part varies strip contact portions of the rolls.
