PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-resistance and heat-resistant separator not melting even if the separator is left at high temperatures as it is and not short-circuiting electrodes. SOLUTION: This heat-resistant separator is characterized by comprising melt-blow nonwoven fabric made of polymethyl pentene of 1 to 20μm in average fiber diameter, 5 to 120 g/m2 in weight, 1 to 100 cc/m2/sec in gas permeability, and 0.01 to 1.0 mm in thickness.
