PURPOSE: A power-savings switch is provided to reduce the waste of energy by easily turning on/off a plug serving to apply power to an electronic apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A plug(21) of a power cord(20) for supplying power from a main wall socket(30) to an electronic apparatus(40). The power control unit(10) comprises a supporting unit(11) and a switch(12). The switch(12) is provided on the upper portion of the supporting unit(11) and controls power inputted from the main wall socket(30). The supporting unit(11) is a tube and made up of a material enduring the bending. An electrical wire is built-in an internal of the supporting unit(11). The switch(12) is provided with a manipulation knob in an upward or forward direction and a label for allowing a user to distinguish it.
