The invention relates to a system to prevent snoring that can be used for people who snore and that comprises a slightly elastic strip (1) whose width is smaller than the mouth. The central area (2) on one of the sides of said strip has a lip protector and an adhesive is located on the two ends (3) thereof. The outer part of the strip is placed in a central, vertical position relative to the mouth of the user. The strip adheres to the furrow between the lips and the mentolabial groove, the central area (2) of the strip (1) being located between the front edge of both lips.
