<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple-light-source compact and parallel coupling and converting correlation device capable of realizing drastic miniaturization and parallelization and the reduction of the dispersion of correlation value in the spatial distribution of light intensity. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a 1st VCSEL 1, a collimating lens 2, an ESLM 3, a Fourier transforming lens 4, mirrors 5 and 5', an OSLM 6, a 2nd VCSEL 7, a collimating lens 8, a Fourier transforming lens 9, a mirror 10, and a photodetector 11, and constitutes a correlation unit to perform optical coupling and converting correlation arithmetic operation spatially in parallel by using Fourier transforming elements, respectively.</p> |
