A steering device for a car has a fixed skeleton which has an essentially curved skeleton section, an operating organ located in sliding fashion on the skeleton section with two attack sections lying essentially opposite one another. <??>The operating organ grips in annular fashion round the skeleton section in cross-section and extends between the attack sections continuously along the curved skeleton section. The skeleton is formed from metal plate, plastic, pressure-cast magnesium, pressure-cast aluminum, polyurethane or glass-reinforced polyurethane. There is a measured value transmitter for the generation of an electrical or electronic signal. The measured value transmitter comprises sensors of a displacement measurement system arranged on the curved skeleton section. |
