PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an e-commerce system which can protect private information on a customer such as his/her address, name and phone number, and also protect information on privacy such as a person's tastes, ideas, principles, friends and acquaintances. SOLUTION: The system comprise Step A1 which designates a place of non-residence 6 different from a buyer's place of residence 3 as a shipping address for a product and places an order from a buyer's unit 31 to a seller's unit 21, Step A2 which notifies the information peculiar to the order as transaction identifying information from the seller's unit 21 to the buyer's unit 31, Step A3 in which the buyer's unit 31 requests a payment executing unit 41 to perform payment for the transaction amount by the above order using the above transaction identifying information, Step A6 in which the seller's unit 31 implements delivery of the product to the place of non-residence 6 and Step A12 which carries out taking delivery of the product at the place of non-residence 6. |
