PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fault management capable of concentratedly performing analysis, flexibly coping with a trouble without lowering the performance of a network environment and eliminating the need of an analyzer dedicated to protocols at the time of analyzing the trouble. SOLUTION: This system for managing faults in a network system constituted of a terminal computer and a network device including a server connected through a network is provided with means 12a-12d for obtaining fault information from the network device, fault information communication means 13a-13d for communicating the fault information through a line 14 dedicated to the fault information separated from a job system communicated through the network and the server 15 for the fault management for receiving and analyzing the communicated fault information.
