PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat light source device and a display device which have improved chromaticity and visual brightness, and prevent unevenness of brightness and firefly phenomenon (local brightness nonuniformity around LED), at low cost. SOLUTION: For a flat light source device making a flat light go out from a light outgoing surface 12 by making a plurality of point light sources 21, 22, 23, 24 get in a surface of incident of a flat-shaped light guide body 1, at least either x or y of the xy chromaticity figure of the point light sources 22, 23 located at the center is made bigger than that of the chromaticity of the point light sources 21, 24 located at the side part. |
