PURPOSE: An ash tray for a vehicle is provided to reduce the contact area between a housing and a tray to reduce the noise generated by the opening or closing of the tray by mounting a projector between upper parts of the housing and the tray. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle ash tray includes a housing(30) mounted in a center facia(10), and a tray(20) mounted in the housing and closely contacting an end of a pin spring(32) to be opened or closed in the one-touch manner, wherein the spring has an end elastically supported in the housing to rotate outwardly and the other end mounted with a roller(33) to move along a guide(21) formed on an inner surface of the tray, and a projector(22) is further elastically supported at an upper part of the tray to generate interference with an inner surface of a top part of the housing to rotate downwardly when withdrawing the tray.
