PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a lead for an expansion valve driving coil from contacting components such as piping and consequently being broken or generating noises in an expansion valve holding device for an air conditioner outdoor unit by maintaining the strength of the unit and reducing the vibration thereof. SOLUTION: The inlet and outlet pipes 2a and 2b of an expansion valve 1 are fixed to pipes 3a and 3b adjacent to the inlet and outlet pipes 2a and 2b through protective bushings 5a and 5b, respectively, by way of a band 4a or a leaf spring 4b.
