PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of lithography which enables easy making of a plate by a simple on-press treatment and enables simple attainment of a large number of stable prints, without using dampening water, by applying it to a heat-sensitive original film of a lithographic plate which enables recording by an infrared laser. SOLUTION: The original film of the lithographic plate has a constitution wherein a heat-sensitive layer containing microcapsules each containing a compound having a heat-reactive functional group is provided on a substrate having a hydrophilic surface. After an image is recorded on the film, printing is executed by using emulsion ink containing an oil based ink component and a hydrophilic component constituted mainly of water and/or a polyvalent alcohol. It is preferable that the heat-sensitive layer has further an overcoat layer removable by the emulsion ink thereon. |
