PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved regulator in response to the request of reducing a noise to an unaudible low level over a wide range of flow rate. SOLUTION: A pressure reducing regulator 10 has a regulator body 18 provided with an inner chamber 30 for receiving high-pressure compressed gas and an outer chamber 34 for receiving low-pressure compressed gas, a valve system 90 movably arranged and stabilized inside this regulator body 18 controls flow between the inner and outer chambers 30 and 34, and a diaphragm device 46 linked to this valve system 90 activates the valve system 90 by detecting pressure inside one of inner and outer chambers 30 and 34.
