PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface trimming structure in a casing of furniture which upgrades the appearance and increases the resistance to collision with any other object and further, is made at a low cost by directly bonding or adhesively attaching or annexing a surface trimmer with a decorative sheet laminated on the surface of a soft and elastic core sheet of a synthetic resin, instead of a conventional decorative sheet, to the back or side of the casing of furniture such as cabinet. SOLUTION: The decorative sheet laminated on the surface of a soft and elastic core sheet of synthetic resin and also having a single or a plurality of recessed strips 5 and 6 formed in the longitudinal direction or the longitudinal and crosswise directions, on the surface side, is adhesively fitted to almost the entire surface of the lateral side 10 and the back 11 of the casing 2 of the furniture. In this case, one recessed strip 5 formed at least in the longitudinal direction of the surface trimmer 1 is formed at a position corresponding to a corner part 15 between the lateral side and the back of the casing 2. Further, the surface trimmer 1 is bent by the recessed strips 5 and 6 and bonded or adhesively attached or annexed to the lateral side and the back of the casing 2.
