PANEL, MOLDING AND ITS MOUNTING STRUCTURE TO CONSTITUTE VEHICLE BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding mounting structure capable of enhancing the working efficiency by simplifying the process to make mounting of the molding and reducing the manufacturing cost through a decrease of the number of components to be used in mounting of the molding. SOLUTION: The molding mounting structure is configured so that a molding mounting piece 10 for mounting the molding 20 protrudes to the molding mounting side in the molding mounting part 5 of a panel surface. The molding mounting piece is formed by folding part of a panel to the molding mounting side. On the side of mounting surface of the molding 20, a fitting recess 25 is provided to be fitted on the molding mounting piece. When fitting is made, movement of the molding at least to one side in the longitudinal direction is restricted by contacting of the molding with the molding mounting piece.
