PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize stable combustion in burning low-quality oil with a simple structure without requiring a coolant circulation hole, coolant feed hole or coolant outlet inside a fuel injection valve, and to prevent cooling water from mixing in the combustion. SOLUTION: A second cylinder part 2b and a third cylinder part 2c in a fuel valve guide 2 mounted between a cylinder head 14 and the fuel injection valve 3 are double-layered structures consisting of an inner cylinder part 10 and an outer cylinder part 11, and a second cooling water jacket 13 is formed between the inner cylinder part 10 and the outer cylinder part 11. Since the fuel injection valve 3 is cooled from outside in this way, the structure of the fuel injection valve 3 is simplified, and therefore, the fuel valve guide 2 is provided by a simple manufacturing means, the stable combustion in burning a low-quality oil is realized, and mixing of cooling water with the fuel is prevented. Moreover, as the lower ends of the inner cylinder part 10 and the outer cylinder part 11 are integrally formed by the electronic beam welding 18, leakage of cooling water in the second cooling water jacket 13 into a combustion chamber 1 can be prevented.
