A gas collection device (1), particularly for controlling facilities for the permanent storage of municipal solid waste, constituted by a longitudinally elongated hollow body (2) that has, at its lower and/or central part, first openings (4) for conveying biogas. The upper part of the hollow body is closed and accessible for measurements.
