PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for supporting base shelves in a commodity display shelf, in which the base shelves can be made common with the other shelf boards to reduce the manufacturing cost and also to readily and securely assemble them. SOLUTION: The bottom end portions of both posts 3, standing on both of a right and a left leg bars 2, which are parallel to each other, are connected to each other with a connecting bar 5, facing toward the right and the left directions, respectively, each base shelf 10, the rear edge portion of which is made substantially equal to or slightly narrower than the interval between the inner side surfaces of the both posts 3 by providing notches 11 on both rear side portions, is mounted on the leg bars 2, which is forward from the both posts 3, by fitting its rear edge portion between the both posts 3, and also a bottom edge portion of each rear piece 10a, hanging down from the rear edge of the base shelf 10, is engaged to each forward and upward bent piece 12d, provided continuously at the bottom edge of each hanging piece 12a hanging down along the front surface of the connecting bar 5 in a hooking attachment 12 surmounted and fitted across the connecting bar 5.
