The invention relates to a cabriolet top of a vehicle which can be altered between a closed position and a stored position, comprising a cabriolet top-linkage (2) and a cabriolet top cloth supported by said cabriolet top-linkage (2). A side stirrup (4) of the cabriolet-top linkage (2) is accommodated in a relative joint (9), which can be pivoted in relation to a hinge joint (8) which is arranged securely onto a vehicle. The rotational axes (8a, 9a) of the hinge joint (8) and the relative joint (9) are orientated at an angle to each other and the pivoting movements of the joints around the rotational axes (8a, 9a) of the joints are cinematically coupled. An actuating element (7) is pivotally mounted in a bearing secured to the vehicle.
