A quantum domain relay including at least three waveguides (1-4), a quantum well (5) with one end of each waveguide connected to the quantum well, and a field of constant magnitude which is applied to the quantum well. Each waveguide provides one degree of freedom to particles contained within the waveguide and the direction of the field may be altered to direct particles entering the well through one waveguide to another waveguide (7,8). |
