<p>PURPOSE: Provided is a packaging material using rice straw, by which it is possible to manufacture an environmentally-friendly vegetable disposable packaging material and which can also be recycled to produce a fertilizer. CONSTITUTION: The packaging material is produced by (i) providing powders of rice straw, (ii) providing starch powders, (iii) mixing the powders of rice straw and the starch powders while adding kelp extract having an adhesion property in a predetermined ratio, (iv) kneading the mixture and pouring in a mold having a shape of articles to be packed, (v) forming the shape using a press, followed by drying. The rice straw does not have the adhesion property but when mixed with the starch powders and kelp extracts it can be form hard articles such as bricks. In the packaging material, a pigment can be added.</p> |
