<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven seat belt retractor excellent in a rising characteristic of a motor and capable of quickly absorbing looseness of a seat belt when winding the seat belt in emergency of a vehicle. SOLUTION: Besides an ordinary power circuit 5, a boosting circuit 3 for supplying high voltage is arranged as a means for supplying a power source to a DC motor 1 for driving a motor retractor 2. When anticipating the occurrence of an emergency, the voltage from the boosting circuit 3 is impressed on the DC motor 1 via a motor controller 9, and the rising time voltage is increased. Thus, the rising characteristic of the DC motor is improved, and the looseness of the seat belt can be quickly removed.</p> |
