HAIR TONIC AND METHOD FOR SCREENING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new hair tonic for suppressing alopecia and to provide a method for screening the same. SOLUTION: This hair tonic comprises at least two kinds of an inhibitor against 5α-reductase type 2, an inhibitor against a transforming growth factor β2 and an inhibitor against caspase 3. The method for screening is characterized by screening for at least two kinds of inhibitions in the inhibition against the 5αreductase type 2, the inhibition against the transforming growth factor β2 and the inhibition against the caspase 3 or screening for the inhibition against the caspase 3 and then screening for the apoptosis suppression. The screening of the apoptosis suppressor can efficiently be carried out with a high accuracy by the method.
