PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a showcase reduced in design and development periods, achieving commonality of components and simplified in manufacturing process by using the same high-temperature side unit also for a low-temperature showcase with differently arranged drainage piping. SOLUTION: The showcase comprises a unit base 9 with a compressor, a condenser and the like attached thereto and front and rear longitudinal members 15A and 15B for forming the lower end of a machine room 3. The unit base is placed at an arbitrary position on the front and rear longitudinal members to be laid across them and has a drainage system provided in a row arrangement therewith for guiding water drained from a cooling unit out of the showcase body.
