FORMING FABRIC FOR PAPERMAKER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming fabric for a papermaker having a long potential life. SOLUTION: This forming fabric is equipped with a set of machine direction(MD) yarns, a set of top side cross machine direction(CMD) yarns and a set of bottom side CMD yarns. The MD yarns and the top side and bottom side CMD yarns are woven in a repeated pattern, each of the MD yarns passes through beneath at least 2 non-adjacent bottom side CMD yarns, and each of the adjacent pair of the MD yarns 112, 114 passes through beneath the common bottom side CMD yarns 150 to form a parallel bottom side MD knot part and nips the adjacent pair of MD yarns forming the parallel bottom side MD knot part. Also the MD yarns 110, 116 adjacent to the adjacent pair of the MD yarns pass over the top side CMD yarns 130 positioned substantially directly over the above bottom side CMD yarn forming the above bottom side ND yarn knot part beneath it, and a virtual floating yarn is formed on the top side CMD yarn.
