The invention relates to a method for archiving and transmitting the image data of a customer to a developing laboratory (20). According to said method, the customer enters the image data using an input device (1) and orders at least one image product (15) that is offered in said device, to be produced by the developing laboratory (20). Order data is then created by the input device (1) from said order. To simultaneously provide an archiving option for image data, the image data and the customer order data are saved to a separate data carrier (9), once the image product(s) (15) has/have been selected. The selected image product(s) (15) is/are produced using the data carrier (9) that has been sent to the developing laboratory (15) and is/are delivered to the customer with the data carrier (9). The invention also relates to a corresponding device and a corresponding data carrier for archiving and transmitting image data. |
