PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a portable telephone and portable information equipment, which have rapidly spread in use, usable not only as a telephone and mail but also as Web money or terminals dealing with the Web money by securely and surely performing personal identification and settlement. SOLUTION: Access cards for personal identification are inserted into the portable telephone and the portable information equipment. An electronic mail is transmitted to an authentication agent on a net by one click from the portable equipment and a virtual URL for authentication is issued from an authentication site in return. The authentication is established by clicking the virtual URL and inputting a password. The settlement is also performed in a similar means. The access cards for personal access cards are obtained by preliminarily registering on an EC site on the net and made to be usable after obtaining returned virtual URL by transmitting an empty mail before use. |
