PURPOSE: A device for driving a folder in a mobile terminal is provided to stably open or close the folder of a mobile terminal by compensating a phase difference generated when the output characteristics of a driving unit are changed or the folder is operated both automatically and manually. CONSTITUTION: A device for driving a folder(2) in a mobile terminal is composed of a driving unit(11), a hinge shaft(60), a spring(40), and a location detection unit(50). The driving unit(11), installed in the inside of a rotation part(10), generates driving force to rotate the folder(2). The driving unit(11) is composed of a motor(12) and a reduction gear(13). The motor(12) forwardly and reversely generates rotation force by the operation force of a switch. The driving unit(11) transfers the rotation force of the motor(12) to the hinge shaft(60). The hinge shaft(60), connected to the driving unit(11), has a cam(61). The cam(61) is inserted into a fixing slot(31) formed at a fixing part(30). The spring(40) elastically supports the hinge shaft(60). The location detection unit(50) is composed of a rectification housing(51) comprising the first pattern(51a) and the second pattern(51b) and a brush housing(52) comprising a brush(52a). When the patterns of the rectification housing(51) and the brush(52a) of the brush housing(52) contact each other electrically, the location detection unit(50) detects it as an in-phase state and supplies it to the driving unit(11). |
