PURPOSE: A receiving apparatus in a CDMA system and a method for synchronizing the code of a received signal using the same are provided to improve the acquisition performance of a CDMA receiving system. CONSTITUTION: A receiving apparatus in a CDMA system is composed of a plurality of antennas #1-#n(10), a power combiner(20), a synchronization block(30), a data demodulation block(40), and a data estimation block(50). The antennas(10), separated one another at intervals of more than half wavelength, receive signals independently and respectively. The power combiner(20) receives all the signals received through the antennas(10) and mutually combines the power strength of the received signals, based on a maximum ratio combining rule. The synchronization block(30) comprises a PN acquisition block(31) and a tracking block(32). The PN acquisition block(31) narrows the phase difference between the code of the combined signal and a local oscillated code and acquires the received code. The tracking block(32) exactly synchronizes and outputs the phase between the acquired code and the local oscillated code. The data demodulation block(40) executes data demodulation for the output signal of the tracking block(32). The data estimation block(50) estimates the data of the received signals, based on the signal demodulated through the data demodulation block(40). |
