PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust recycling type vacuum cleaner with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: This vacuum cleaner is constituted of a cleaner main body 1 with a dust collecting chamber and an electric blower 6, a flexible hose connected to the cleaner main body 1, an extension pipe connected to the flexible hose, and a suction device for floor connected to the extension pipe. The cleaner is equipped with a suction passage to guide suction air from the suction device for floor to the dust collecting chamber of the cleaner main body 1 and an exhaust passage to guide the exhaust of the electric blower 6 toward the suction device for floor. The flexible hose 2 is connected to the front part of the cleaner main body 1. The end part upstream the bypass pipe 8 to guide the exhaust of the electric blower 6 is connected to the edge of the exhaust port of the electric blower 6. The end part downstream the bypass pipe 8 is communicated to the exhaust passage of the flexible hose 2.
