PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball manufacturing method which is simple, and wherein a mold release property is improved while giving unfavorable effects to the other physical properties. SOLUTION: A molding device is equipped with a mold 7 comprising an upper die 3 and a lower die 5, an upper insulator 9, a lower insulator 11, an upper hot plate 13, a lower hot plate 15 and a high voltage power source device 17. The upper die 3 and the lower die 5 are respectively equipped with cavity internal surfaces 19 and 21 which form a semi-spherical cavity. When both cavity internal surface 19 and 21 are butted, a spherical cavity is formed, and a core 1 is molded by the cavity. The mold 7 is electrically insulated from the hot plates 13 and 15 by both insulators 9 and 11. The lower hot plate 15 is grounded. A plus voltage is applied to the mold 7 by the high voltage power source device 17.
