PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply structured and inexpensive eyelash former which can form eyelashes in a short time and is user-friendly and efficient. SOLUTION: This former consists of a pad member 7 provided with a forming mold in a shape suited to eyelash forming at its tip and arranged movably, a pad receiving member 6 provided with a forming mold opposed to the member 7 at its tip and arranged fixedly, an auxiliary pad member 8 which can be slid and operated upward and downward along the side surface of the member 7 and an operation knob 5 arranged on the front surface side of a housing 1 to operate the pad member 7 and the pad member 8. After raising the member 8 and the member 7 together by means of the knob 5 and inserting the eyelashes between the member 7 and the member 6 to give forming of a first step, the knob 5 is operated additionally to raise the member 8 singly to give forming of a second step for pressing up the hair tip projecting from the pad member 7 with the pad member 8.
