摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a higher oxoaldehyde and or a corresponding alcohol from an olefin or an olefin mixture in a combination of a high conversion rate and a high selectivity correspondingly hardly causing a by-product and/or a subsequent product additionally in a high space time yield with providing a room for adjusting characteristics of a product. SOLUTION: This method for producing an alcohol and/or an aldehyde comprises (a) hydroformylating an olefin 3 until 20-98% conversion ratio by a hydroformylation stage 1, (b) removing a catalyst from a liquid reaction outflow 5 thus obtained, (c) separating a liquid hydroformylation mixture 8 thus obtained into a low-boiling substance fraction 10 containing an olefin and a paraffin and a bottom fraction 18 containing the aldehyde/the alcohol by a distillation column 9 and (d) reacting the olefin contained in the low-boiling substance fraction by a further method process including method stages (a), (b) and (c) and collecting the bottom fractions of the method stages (c) of all the method processes together.
