PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition having excellent flame retardance by the addition of a small amount of flame retardant by using an inorganic flame retardant in combination with a halogen-free organic phosphorus flame retardant, and to provide a molded article composed of the resin composition. SOLUTION: The flame retardant is produced by compounding (A) a phosphazene composition composed of a cyclic phosphazene expressed by general formula (1) ((m) is an integer of 3-10; and Q1 and Q2 are each a group independently selected from aryloxy group, alkoxy group, amino group and dialkylamino group) and a chain phosphazene expressed by general formula (2) ((n) is an integer of 1-20; Q3 and Q4 are each a group selected independently from aryloxy group, alkoxy group, amino group and dialkylamino group) with (G) a hydroxylated metal compound and (H) a silicate. The invention further provides a flame-retarding resin composition and a molded article made of the resin composition.
