PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for fixing high-level radioactive wastes for the geological disposal of them which can be constructed without requiring high construction accuracy and can discharge underground water and the like even during the use of the structure. SOLUTION: Grooves 12 for fixing artificial barriers 20 are formed along the longitudinal direction of disposal galleries 2 at the bottoms of them. The artificial barriers 20 that stow wastes 3 and are made of a buffer material 4 are fixed horizontally in series in the grooves 12 for fixing the artificial barriers 20.
