PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a format conversion system between portable terminals and a simultaneous translation system between portable terminals by which format conversion and language translation are implemented between portable telephones according to both communicators, using different languages and different formats by utilizing portable telephones to achieve smooth communication. SOLUTION: A user having a portable telephone 1 registers information about formats of image, characters and voice as well as a language used by the user in a communication data conversion system 9. The communication data conversion system stores the inputted information in a personal information database 5. When the owner of the portable telephone 1 uses this system, the owner utilizes each system in a communication data conversion server 8 to implement format conversion and language translation suitable for both communicators from the user registration information and the information about a communication form. |
