PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a UTP cable satisfying electrical properties such as the property of cross talk between a pair of twisted wire cores, provided with adequate flexibility suitable for the cable and enabling an increase in costs to be suppressed. SOLUTION: The UTP cable is constituted by covering a plurality of paired twisted wire cores 15, assembled around an inclusion 20, with a sheath 21. The inexpensive inclusion 20, used in place of a conventional cross-shaped one, has a circular cross section and can acquire the adequate flexibility. The inclusion 20 composed of a string body is inserted so as to maintain a fixed distance or above between the wire cores 15 corresponding to a category 6, and the outside diameter d of the inclusion 20 is made smaller than that D of the wire core 15 in terms of the balance of the flexibility, etc.; however, the outside diameter ratio of 0.4 D is inadequate for the specification of a near-end cross talk attenuation (cross talk), and that of 0.6 D excessively satisfies the above specification. Consequently, the outside diameter d of the inclusion 20 is preferably taken as half that D of the wire core 15.
