PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat fixing roller coated with a fluororesin which is substantially free or entirely free of crack defects even if a PFA heat shrinkable tube of a thickness below 20μm is used. SOLUTION: This fixing roller has a roller body 11 and a heat shrinkable tube layer (12) coated by heat shrinkage on the outer periphery of the roller body. The heat shrinkable tube is the heat shrinkable tube which is formed of a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and perfluroalkyl vinyl ether and has an average thickness of <20μm and haze of <=6%.
