PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing tetrachloroethane in sewage such as ground water, sewage or the like by a simple means until the concentration of tetrachloroethane exceeds a measuring limit to become an undetected state. SOLUTION: Tetrachloroethane is removed by mixing sewage containing tetrachloroethane with humus under stirring to age the same and subsequently neutralizing the aged sewage. |
