Identification data is added to information, being a research object, out of the information in a site on a network to make the research object information specified information. A client having received desired specified information in the site is made to transmit the identification data added to the specified information every specific time to the network while the specified information is displayed on a browser. A predetermined server on the network receives the transmitted identification data and specifies the specified information viewed by a user from the received identification data to calculate the time during which the specified information is viewed from the number of receptions of the identification data. |
