PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anion generator using a tourmaline ore enhanced in handleability and design effect and capable of simply imparting the effect of the tourmaline ore even in bathtub water or a living room. SOLUTION: The anion generator using the tourmaline ore is constituted by putting housing articles (3) containing the tourmaline ore as a main constituent in a container (2) having an appropriate volume and forming one or more through-holes (22) to the container so as to pierce the same and arranging a support (4) capable of holding the whole of the container. The container may be formed by sintering a kneaded mixture of the powdery tourmaline ore and clay. Further, the support may be arranged to the surface of the container at an appropriate position and may be a suction pad (4) having a size capable of being sucked to a smooth surface to be held thereto.
