COATING FLUID FOR FORMING TRANSPARENT CONDUCTIVE LAYER

PURPOSE: To provide a coating fluid for forming a transparent conductive layer that enables formation of a transparent conductive layer having such properties as high transmittance, low resistance, low reflectance and high strength with few film defects. CONSTITUTION: The coating fluid for forming a transparent conductive layer comprises as its main components a solvent and noble metal fine particles dispersed in the solvent and having an average particle diameter of 1-100 nm wherein the solvent contains 0.005-1.0 wt.% formamide (HCONH2). The use of the coating fluid for forming a transparent conductive layer makes it possible to easily form a conductive film of a developed network structure on a transparent substrate, which results in enabling formation of a transparent conductive layer having such properties as high transmittance, low resistance, low reflectance and high strength with few film defects.
