<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rewrite the term of validity of a commutation ticket without visiting a commutation ticket counter. SOLUTION: A list generating server 12 at a commutation ticket information service site 1 generates a notices with a 'term expiring person list' to a cooperation by referring a database 11 on the day determined in a contract with the cooperation member and also generate a notice showing that the term of validity almost expires to an individual member. A user terminal 3 once receiving the notice from a mail server 13 sends back a 'commutation ticket rewriting application' specifying a person who should rewrite a commutation ticket and the terms of validity. An account settling server 2 settles the charge. After the settlement is completed, a rewriting indicating server 14 at the service site instructs a commutation ticket rewriting device 4 incorporated in an automatic ticket examination system of transportation facilities to update the term of validity of the commutation ticket when the ID number of the commutation ticket is detected by specifying the ID number and the term of validity. Consequently, when the commutation ticket with the ID number passes through the automatic ticket examination system, the term of validity is automatically updated.</p> |
